Mining Rewards Formula

Effective Mining Weight, and the global emission pool it shares.

Every miner's reward comes from two layers: a personal Effective Mining Weight, and a network-wide Global Emission Pool that Weight shares from. Neither layer is hidden.

Effective Mining Weight

Pickaxe Base Mining Power × (1 + Referral Booster + Temporary Booster)

There is no Pickaxe Equipment Multiplier. Pickaxe Base Mining Power is set directly by your Pickaxe Level — see Pickaxe Levels.

Worked example

Pickaxe Base Mining Power (Level 3)

165

Referral Booster (launch phase)

0%

Effective Mining Weight

165

The Referral Booster is 0% during the launch phase, so Effective Mining Weight equals Base Mining Power. The chain above shows how it will stack once enabled.

Mining Reward Formula

epoch_budget = era_allocation ÷ epochs_in_era
per_weight = epoch_budget ÷ max(total_power, 200,000)
your_reward = your_power × per_weight (per epoch)
mining_rate = your_power × per_weight × 6
SymbolMeaning
era_allocation91,666,667 DOM for every era (91,666,665 for era 6)
epochs_in_eranominal era duration in days × 144 (a 10-minute epoch = 144 per day)
total_powersum of mining power of all active miners
your_poweryour pickaxe's mining power (100–300)

The 200,000 floor (equal to 2,000 Novice miners) prevents the very first miners from taking an entire epoch's budget alone.

All amounts are computed as integer µDOM (1 DOM = 1,000,000 µDOM) and never rounded up — the game never shows more DOM than actually exists.

More miners lower the rate (per_weight is shared by everyone), and each new era halves it. What never changes: Legend (300) always mines exactly 3× Novice (100) at the same moment.

Booster reference

BoosterRule
Referral Booster0% during the launch phase (referrals pay DOM instead). Planned: +0.5% per active qualified referral, up to +15%
Temporary / Event BoosterTBA — configurable, always capped
Combined Booster Ceiling+25% before any event booster — the Halving's allocation always wins
